Hair loss has more possible causes than most people realize, and treating it well starts with figuring out which one is actually driving yours — not reaching for a generic product and hoping.
Getting an accurate diagnosis first
Pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) is the most common cause in both men and women, but hormonal shifts, nutritional deficiencies, stress, and certain scalp conditions can all contribute to hair thinning too — and some of these need to be ruled out or addressed before hair-focused treatment will work well. A proper scalp examination, and sometimes blood work, helps identify what’s actually happening before we recommend a plan.
Treatment options we use
Once we understand your specific pattern of hair loss, treatment may draw on PRP or GFC (both blood-derived growth factor treatments, with GFC covered in more depth on its own page), newer exosome-based therapy, or topical and prescription options — often combined, since no single treatment addresses every contributing factor.
Setting a realistic timeline
Hair treatments work by supporting the natural growth cycle rather than producing instant results — most plans need a genuine multi-month commitment before you can fairly judge whether they’re working, and earlier intervention generally has more responsive follicles to work with than long-established hair loss.
